The funeral service is a very sad time, but it doesn't have to be a bad memory. A beautiful symbolic dove release tribute is a good memory to add to the all the others we hold in our hearts for a special loved one. We generally release the doves at the closing of the internment service, providing a positive and uplifting message of hope and support for the family and friends in a time of loss.

We offer a number of Houston memorial dove release services, however, other arrangements can be made to suit the preferences of the family. We will coordinate all services with your funeral or memorial director so there is nothing for you to worry about on the day of the service. We are generally provided with the estimated arrival time at the release site and plan accordingly to have our equipment set up prior to your arrival. We have years of experience working with funeral directors and cemetery staff, so we understand the flow of the services and what is expected of us to ensure that your service is flawless.

The most commonly requested funeral tribute is the Trinity. We provide a single white "spirit" dove in a small white basket. After we present a short reading explaining the symbolism of the doves, the family members release the single dove from the basket. Then we release three white doves symbolizing the Father, Son, and Holy Spirt. The Trinity will join with the spirit dove, seeming to gather it in love and guidance, showing it the way home.

A "flock of angels" may be more appropriate than the Trinity, generally in tragic situations such as the loss of a child or young person. A single white dove is released in a tribute to the spirit of the loved one who has passed away. The single dove release is followed by the release of up to 24 white doves, a flock of angels to escort the spirit dove into the heavens.
